In 2022, we successfully brought our project to the city of Mladá Boleslav, thanks to our local contact, Ondřej Hercík. He connected us with the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund, which has since become the general partner of our festival in this city. The foundation fund was established by Škoda Auto to support and co-create the development of the Mladá Boleslav region, building on the philanthropic legacy of the company’s founders, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement. They always acted responsibly, supporting not only their employees but also helping to create a dignified and inspiring environment for all residents of the Mladá Boleslav region. Thanks to this partnership and collaboration, we can carry out the event in Mladá Boleslav and the entire City=Gallery project at a high level.

Mladá Boleslav (German: Jungbunzlau) is a statutory city in the Mladá Boleslav District in the Central Bohemian Region. It is located on the left bank of the middle course of the Jizera River, at the confluence with the Klenice stream, approximately 50 km northeast of Prague, connected by the D10 motorway. The city has a population of about 46,000 and is structurally merged with the neighboring small town of Kosmonosy. The city is home to the Škoda Auto car manufacturer. In terms of population, it is the second-largest city in the Central Bohemian Region after Kladno.
