„City=Gallery“ is a project that has been dedicated to urban art / street art and interventions in public spaces since 2017. It serves as the successor to the „Woodoo Session“ project, which was held in Poděbrady since 2006. Check out the old website, or check the facebook with the galleries.
- „City=Gallery“ emerged in 2017 as a vibrant continuation of the pioneering „Woodoo Session“ project, which began its journey in Poděbrady back in 2006. This project is a dynamic exploration of street art and interventions in public spaces, showcasing a fusion of creativity and urban culture.
- „City=Gallery“ serves as a platform for both established and emerging street artists to express their talents and engage with the public through their artistic interventions.
- Since its inception, the project has transformed various public spaces in the city, injecting them with color, creativity, and thought-provoking messages.
- Through a series of murals, workshops, and live art installations, „City=Gallery“ aims to foster a deeper appreciation for street art and its role in shaping urban environments.
- The project has successfully bridged the gap between traditional art galleries and the streets, democratizing art and making it accessible to a broader audience.
- Over the years, „City=Gallery“ has evolved, adapting to changing artistic trends and community needs while remaining committed to its core mission of art in public spaces.
- Street art enthusiasts, tourists, and locals alike have all had the opportunity to witness the transformation of the cityscape through „City=Gallery.“
